How's it going everyone, so I'm painting my bee and I'm slightly changing the yellow so my Hope is to be able to take the taillight bars off in order to paint them, has anyone taken them off the taillight before without breaking them and if so how? |

I would guess a heat gun would help loosen the glue then use floss or fishing line to separate then from the lense. _________________ Kris 2005 Second Swarm 3296 2X4, Honeycomb grill, 2/5 Drop, Shaved emblems,SCT stacked with Superchips,35% Tinted front windows 5% on back, Extang Low pro file cover,Motive 4.56's, Auburn LSD, 5" Sixpack 440 hood scoop, OBX Longtubes, Pioner Premier Head unit, 12" 1200XL MA audio subs. I have taken the yellow bars off the tail lights before it was easy using the fishing line to cut the double sided tape to remove the bars from the lens. I had water getting into the tail light, so I bought a new tail light and used double sided tape (3M) to put it back on. Came out real good. _________________ 05 4x4,Katzskin Seats,Flowmaster 70 w/Resonator,Leer Cover w/spoiler,stripe extentions, superBee logo,MRK pieces inside,Mud Flaps,Rhino Spray Liner,Windshield Dodge banner, porcelin shifter knob insert and flasher button,Sylvania Ultra Lights/Fog lights,Bee Floor Mats,Bee Air valve Caps,Boston Bruins Plates..Steve...Boston,MA |
