doing some ramdom searchs on here and read 1 post about doing this but didn't seem like alot of feed back from others who may have tried it. I was just wondering where the info came from?? I followed your directions but forgot about doing the regular acceleration test first Embarassed
plus i may have held the brake down a little too long when stomping the accelerator. Did a hell of a burn out but don't know if i really improved the truck or not....... but i feel better that i at least tried something Shocked
may go to the track this weekend to see if anything changes

i think what you are referring to, from what iv expereinced, the truck has to be off when you do this. Turn the key to the "on" position but dont turn it over, click it forward as many clicks as it goes, before you have to turn it over. leave it there. Then slowly press down on your gas peddal until it goes all the way down, then slowly bring it back up. turn the key backwards and i usually take it out. then start it back up. the reason i beleive this works is because before i did this i was getting around 18mpg in town and 21 or 22 on the highway. after i did this it dropped down to about 15 in town and 18 or so on the highway. hope this helps Very Happy

I got the info on one of the sites!
IMO after the calibration I was able to smoke them without power breaking. Before that I could only get a little chirp outta the tires!

Turn the key to the "on" position but dont startit,
Leave it there till most of the dash lights go out!
Then slowly press down on your gas pedal until it goes all the way downand hold it for 10 seconds
Then slowly bring it back up
Turn the key to off and then start it back up.
