I have an open rear and want to upgrade to a posi unit. I have been considering an Auburn from Moes but found a local bone yard with a LSD from a wreck. They claim "fits any 9.25" with 12" ring pattern.
I feel skeptical but looking for input here.... |

| how is it possable to have a 9.25 with a 12 inch ring gear in it?the 9.25 is the ring gear size in that rear end. personally i would just get a new one the factory LSD sucks. |

LOL - I guess so. I mis-spoke, I ment to say 12 BOLT ring gear... I am leaning towards the Auburn unit 'cause I heard the fact unit aint so hot. Gotta find a local shop for set up. What are you guys paying for set up? |

Hey Otter.
did you install the LSD or did you go with Auburn? I need/want to do the same, after my hard shifting something broke in my rear axle today, so ill go with a Auburn while ill have it open, or ill find me a DANA 60 off an SRT 10
